Isleb Recall The HCRG contends that Ms. Isleb is remiss in her duties as 3rd District Alderperson. These are just examples of her record: Ms. Isleb, along with 1st District Alderperson Jacki Lokken have teamed up to make motion for or to second a motion more than any other Hartford Common Council members for annexation of land in Hartford. This growth has led to approximately 1,000 vacant living units in Hartford and a 7-year "inventory" of land already annexed and to be developed for housing. Ms. Isleb, as the Common Council representative on the Planning Commission, she was fully aware of the glut of vacant housing and land inventory, but continued to annex land. Now that the HCRG is making this information known, she has voted against the approval of the Certified Survey Map (CSM) for Zeeba Hills subdivision on Hartford's west side, citing the inventory of land already annexed. This came as a surprise to the HCRG, since the Common Council action to approve the CSM is supposedly only a "formality" in the process - at least that is what was stated when the CSM for Wal-Mart was approved. Will the real Kathleen Isleb please stand up? Ms Isleb has been targeted for the first recall in Hartford
We believe that she has acted irresponsbly in her role as a representative of 3rd District residents, and should thereford be replaced immediately.
